A Danish pilot trains with the 195th FS over Tucson. It's interesting to watch the wing surfaces move as the pilot maneuvers the jet and drops some bombs. Some nice tanker action and gun footage as well. Be sure to stay through to the end.

On a related note, here's a video of Danish F-16s practicing strafing runs. The video isn't that great, but just listen to the belch of that M61 Vulcan Gatling gun.

In case anybody's wondering, the music is The Hangman's Body Count by the Danish band Volbeat. I'm not much of a metal fan, but I liked it.

I'm from Tucson and it is nice to see from the inside the action that causes all the noise so often. Were the bombs dropped some sort of dummy or did the use the explosive range? Also, was the beginning of this at DMAFB? Hard to tell.

Amazing how calm the pilot/s keep when under massive Gs. Nice video sir.

No idea if they were practice or live. Dukie might chime in on that one.

The 195th is located at Tucson Air National Guard Base, which is at Tucson Int'l Airport.

ttyymmnn is right, the AZ Guard F-16s fly out of TIA (Tucson International Airport).

The first bomb drop were live MK-82 (500 lb) bombs on a TER (triple ejector rack). The practice bombs are made of concrete and are painted blue, those were green so they were live (also looked to have impact fuses on them). The second bomb dropped was a GBU-12 laser guided bomb.

They were flying over the Barry Goldwater range, there are different areas of the range for different things, but that's the range they were at.
